Mayell & Fraser Pvt. Ltd. is proud to announce that we are one of few fully Indian owned companies to bottle international quality Scotch Whisky. After many years of searching for the right partner, we have joined hands with Angus Dundee Plc., Glasgow, Scotland. Initially we shall be blending and bottling under their license and supervision three of their whisky brands for the Indian market, Pipers Clan Scotch Whisky, Castle Pride Deluxe Grain Whisky, Three Castles Superior Grain Whisky.

We have a state of the art blending and bottling house. With over 50 quality control checks and inspections, we are confident that our products are of highest standards. We are already pursuing obtaining certification for ISO 9001, and also ISO 14001 for quality control, safety and environment protection.

Presently we have a daily production capacity of 1,500 cases per day which can be easily raised if the market demands. Our existing infrastructure can be easily modified to increase production up to 6,000 cases per day. Our production facilities are comprised of automatic, semi-automatic and computerized machinery and lab equipment. Our fully marbled, dust-free and climate-controlled production unit is a more hygienic environment than most alcoholic bottling houses in India.

In the first year, we shall be launching our products in Sikkim, and along with the entire North Eastern States and West Bengal. We plan to take a conservative figure of 3% of the total Deluxe Whisky segment in the very first 12 months of operation. The market wise target allocation is: Sikkim comprising 10%, the North Eastern States comprising 60%, and the remaining 30% in West Bengal.

Using only hand picked, all natural 6 Years Old Vatted Malt Scotch Whisky, gives our product a substantial advantage, since others have been using synthetic or only 3 Year Old Malts. In addition, the excellent grain extra neutral alcohol and superb mountain spring water we use is undoubtedly the best India has to offer.

Our small batch production ensures that the utmost care and precision is used in every single drop that leaves the company. Along with our commitment to excellence, the attractive package design ordered from the best suppliers in India adds to our competitive advantage.

Our dynamic and experienced marketing team with offices in Kolkatta, Sikkim, and Guwahati have been hand picked from the best liquor companies in India such as UB Spirits, Shaw Wallace, BDA, Seagram’s, and Jagajit Industries toensure that the business plan is met year after year.
