Angus Dundee Distillers, Glasgow, Scotland
Angus Dundee is an independent company with over 50 years experience in the production, bottling, and distribution of fine Scotch Whiskies and other spirits. They own two malt distilleries: Tomintoul, which is located in the Speyside Glenlivet region, and Glencadam, in the Highland region of Scotland.
During the last few years, the Scotch whisky industry has become the province of large international groups who are primarily concerned with selling their own brands.
Angus Dundee has successfully created, satisfied customers, large and successful brands which are Number One in their particular countries. They have achieved this by creating special relationships with their customers who are treated as their partners.
Angus Dundee operates out of four locations in UK namely Tomintoul, Glencadam, Glasgow & London head quarters.
Tomintoul Distillery is situated in the heart of the Speyside Glenlivet region. The village of Tomintoul is the highest village in the Highlands of Scotland. The Speyside region has long been recognized as the premier region of the world for producing Scotch whisky and the district of Livet is considered the prime district within Speyside. The pure natural water and perfect climatic conditions have combined to give Tomintoul its very smooth and rich flavor – the gentle dram.
Glencadam distillery is located in the ancient city of Brechin in the Highlands of Scotland and is the only distillery in the Angus region. It was opened in 1825; just one year after distilling on large scale was legalized in Scotland. The stills have a special shape, an unusual feature being that their pipes run upwards at an angle of 15° rather than downwards, helping to produce a particularly mellow flavor. |
